Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. is a fraternal organization founded on December 1st, 1975 at Kean College in Union, New Jersey. Lambda Theta Phi is the first nationally recognized Latino fraternity. The Iowa State University Colony of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. was established on November 5th, 2011 on the campus of Iowa State University. This organization is open to any male student committed to excellence and determination to succeed on the Iowa State campus. Our mission is to promote the spirit of brotherhood, to protect the rights of Latino students in his quest for an education, to promote the rich Latino culture, and to maximize leadership potentials to provide guidance to our community. Our principals are Unity, Respect, Brotherhood, Culture, and Pride.

Description of Special Events

Crush Can Event: Selling Crush cans for valentines day to raise money for the chapter. C.U.R.E Event with Sigma Lambda Gamma: Silent auction to raise money for Epilepsy research. Taco Sale Event with Lambda Theta Nu: Selling tacos to raise money for each chapter.
