Furthering club members and community members alike in their knowledge and appreciation of insects and other invertebrate animals and to help contribute to sustainability and eco-friendly practices.
Constitution / Tier
||The Entomology Club is open to all students interested in insects and other arthropods.
||Membership is open to all Iowa State University students in good academic standing with an interest in insects, other arthropods, or invertebrates in general, regardless of major.
Membership may be requested by attending a club meeting and requesting to be added to the email list.
||Officer terms are annual (Beginning of Fall Semester to End of Summer Session) and elections are held by ballot the final meeting of the Spring Semester. Current officer positions are: President, Vice-President/Secretary, and Treasurer.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
|Regular Meetings at the Entomology Club are scheduled monthly (Spring Semester) or bimonthly (Fall Semester) and usually involve a speaker from Iowa State University to discuss his/her research as it pertains to insects or other arthropods. Different club activities, such as outreach opportunities at local schools and summer projects are also frequent.

Annual Insect Film Festival showing some type of buggy movie with insect zoo specimens on display, sponsored by the Iowa State University Insect Zoo, the Entomological Graduate Student Organization, and the undergraduate Entomology Club.
