Description of Special Events

Insect Film Festival - Provide Movie and entertainment to students/children/members of the community once a year to increase the public's awareness of different insects, their biology and also how they affect human populations in general. Overall a fun and educational family-oriented experience for members of the community. Invite a guest speaker for EGSO sponsored Seminar - Invited guest speaker will update members of the Department of Entomology about current topics in the field. This seminar is open to other undergraduate students/graduate students/faculty/staff in other departments of the University as well.
