Dizang-Qi Buddhism Club is for those who are interested in learning about and/or cultivating Buddhist practice and concepts. We cover basic concepts formally, but also allow exploration of deeper concepts in discussion. Key concepts include Kamma (the law of cause and effect), the five precepts, the Noble Eightfold path, non-self, impermanence, compassion, and so on. We are originally based on Pure-Land Buddhism, but include teachings and practices from multiple Buddhist paths such as Theravada, Zen, and Tibetan Buddhism. Members are not required to be Buddhist nor convert to Buddhism to be a part of the club. You are free to your own interpretation and you are free to refuse participation in any activity or practice. Our goal is to give members the tools they need to find their most enriched experience of life.
