The student chapter of the AVDS at ISU is committed to advancing the knowledge, education, and awareness of veterinary dentistry among veterinary students in the form of lectures and wetlabs. Through our efforts, we are successfully increasing awareness of the importance of this facet of animal medicine.

Elections/Selection Done yearly at the end of the spring semester.
Meetings Voluntary lunch meeting, several hands-on teaching wet labs and occasional field trips.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

Typically there are several lunch meetings with guest speakers throughout the semester, as well as several opportunities for hands-on experience with various wet-labs. Several events are held with other clubs of ISU CVM for added benefit. There are no required number of meetings that must be attended.

Description of Special Events

Our introductory meeting will be held a few weeks after school starts. Stay tuned for more information.
