Grad SWE aims to create a community for women seeking graduate degrees in engineering. We hold events to encourage professional and person development, provide mentoring opportunities, and give social support.

Members should be registered as graduate students in the College of Engineering at Iowa State University in any of the engineering departments |
| Membership Restrictions |
Members should not be outside the College of Engineering and MUST be graduate students |

Officer elections are held every year in December |
| Meetings |
Officer meetings are held every Wednesday from 12 to 1 PM via Webex for Fall '20 Semester |
Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
| Professional development events- resume review, career preparation workshop, panel discussions. Social events- to provide social support to graduate students- Movie screening (generally movies that address issues of women in science), trivia. |

| Special Events- Events that are outreach events and are conducted at middle schools- Middle school day |
