Collegiate Women in Business (CWIB) is designed to inspire, empower, and develop women pursuing a career in business. The organization provides an opportunity to network and develop professional relationships through the College of Business. This group meets weekly and is open to all females in the College of Business (all majors an minors) as well as Ag Business majors or minors.

||Executive board and committee position elections take place each fall and spring semester.
||Weekly meetings are held every Wednesday from 5-6 PM in Carver 0305.

Creating a camaraderie with our peers. This group is all about support!
Discussing personal and professional decisions that lie ahead. Our futures will be full of decisions. Be prepared by giving these some thought now!
Reflecting on what we want. We all have different goals so some soul searching is good to figure out what your priorities and goals are. Then you can start making a plan to achieve them!
Gaining an awareness of the challenges we face. They are out there. We will be ready. Will you?
Learning to ignore the stereotypes. We are ready to break some ceilings!
Networking with influential women professionals. The advantage we can give ourselves by listening to the experiences and advice of other women is incredible.
Working on professional development.
Making a difference and reaching out to high school students through the College’s Young Women in Business (YWIB) conference.
Building a sense of empowerment, achievement, and confidence that will carry into the future!

|Our members play a major role in planning and hosting the annual Young Women in Business Conference at Iowa State University!
Our Special Events Co-Chairs put on our 2nd Annual Invest in Yourself Workshop in November 2016. Each year has a different theme:
