AIGA-ISU/GDSA is committed to furthering the knowledge of the professional world within graphic design and various visual communication professions through speakers, activities, and trips to professional studios and museums. Networking skills are also practiced in our provided mentor program. The AIGA-ISU is an Iowa State University student chapter of American Institute of Graphic Arts, which is a national, professional organization.

Regular meetings include speakers from the profession, or special topics from graphic design faculty to help better prepare students for professional practice

Special events include trips to tour graphic design studios in Minneapolis, Chicago, Des Moines or Kansas City.
