Allowed Members students are nominated for membership based on academic achievements in Food Science and Technology
Allowed Officers president, vice-president, secretary/treasurer
Membership Qualifications Students should be pursuing a degree in Food Science or related major. Students are nominated for membership and must meet the qualifications outlined by the national committee of Phi Tau Sigma.

Elections/Selection officers will be elected/selected by the current members of chapter
Meetings held monthly

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

Meetings will be held monthly to promote and support the discipline of food science and technology

Description of Special Events

Special events in which chapter members will participate in include: Fall FSHN departmental Welcome Picnic, FSHN Department Homecoming Activities, volunteers for departmental activities, judges for State Science and Technology Fair of Iowa, FFA Product Development Competition, food packaging for food banks, Initiation Ceremony
