Description
The Actuarial Science Club/Gamma Iota Sigma is a student organization that is comprised of students interested in actuarial science, data analytics, and related fields. We welcome students both well on their way to becoming credentialed, students just beginning their journey, and students who simply want to learn more about the industry. We will have industry insiders, seasoned professors, and other students share their experiences and advice about moving forward into their careers. We will also work with the university to help shape the curriculum and student planning to accommodate the actuarial exams.

| Membership Qualifications |
Qualification for positions comes down to each club member deciding when they vote if they believe the candidate will be a good fit for the position. Members have the option to abstain from voting if they feel the candidate is not qualified for the position. |
| Membership Restrictions |
There are no restrictions on who can or cannot enter the club. |
| Elections/Selection |
Elections are held when a position opens up or is created. Positions are for life unless the club feels the current position holder is not performing up to par. |

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
| Regular meetings will include introductions, announcements by different position heads, conversations about initiatives or direction we want to the club to proceed, and guest speakers when they can be aligned. |
