The purpose and goals of the Chinese Language Club are to help students at Iowa State learn and practice Chinese language and culture. As such and through this platform, the Chinese Language Club can help in building friendships among students across cultural origin and linguistic difference. This organization will pair Chinese students with American students to practice Chinese language on a regular basis. This organization will also hold weekly group discussions and Chinese conversation corners.

Constitution / Tier
||Any ISU students and any non-ISU students want to practice and learn Chinese language and culture
||Anyone is a member of the Chinese Language Club for at least a semester. The officers must be in a good standing with the university and with a minimum 2.5 GPA. The president must be in this club for at least a year.
||ISU students with a minimum 2.0 GPA and be in a good standing with the university.
||There are no restrictions to join the Chinese Language Club at this time.
||At a time determined by the treasurer and the president
||The officers of Chinese Language Club plans weekly meeting on campus. The President is responsible for 1) reserving the meeting space, 2) holding bi-monthly officer meetings.

Description of Special Events
|We will have a fall kickoff for all Chinese Language Club members. Location will be announced later through email. There will be snacks and games provided. It will be a great opportunity for our members to get to know each other better, and to get excited about this club.
