Description
The Interfraternity Council is an overarching organization for the 31 IFC fraternities at Iowa State. The 31 IFC chapters make up an authentic community that provides a network of lifelong support and friendship. Through advocacy, collaboration, and education, our council serves to represent and empower the men in our community to operate in an environment conducive of success. Our eleven executive council members are devoted to supporting social, intellectual, and professional development for members within the IFC Community.

Chapters who are affiliated with the North-American Interfraternity Conference are automatically added as member fraternities and the members of these organizations are automatically added membership. Other fraternity may apply for membership. |
| Allowed Officers |
Any student who has served on the executive board or has previously served as a chapter president is eligible to run for president. There are no restrictions for other officers. |

Voted upon by the chapter Presidents outlined in the Interfraternity Council constitution and bylaws. |
