Description

The Ames Student Association for Malaysians (ASAM) represents as the official Malaysian student organization here at Iowa State University since 19XX. The goal and mission of ASAM is to promote Malaysian culture and traditions to the diverse community here at Iowa State University to students, faculty and staff, while also being the backbone for all Malaysian students being a second home away from home.

Meetings Meetings usually consists of officers. However anyone eager to learn more about ASAM or to participate in ASAM activities are welcome. Volunteers are always appreciated and future prospects or candidates wishing to run in the elections are certainly encouraged to attend.

Malaysian Cultural Night Malaysian Cultural Night (MCN) is an event hosted by the Ames Student Association for Malaysians (ASAM) student organization based in Iowa State University every Spring semester once a year. As Malaysia is a country full and rich in history and diversity, Malaysian Cultural Night showcases and celebrates the various cultures and races to the diverse community here at Iowa State University.
