Allowed Members You must be a Sociology graduate student to be a member.
Allowed Officers Any member can become an officer.
Membership Qualifications Sociology graduate student.
Membership Restrictions You must be a Sociology graduate student.
Elections/Selection Elections occur at toward the end of the Spring semester. If there are still positions to be filled, a special call for nominations and elections will be held the first few weeks of the Fall semester.
Meetings A schedule for meetings is determined at the beginning of each semester based on member availability.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

SOS meets monthly. We also schedule additional social activities throughout the year.

Description of Special Events

In the past, social events have included going to volleyball games and hockey games. We also have a Welcome Back picnic at the beginning of each year. We also try to host a Holiday Party and an end of year party. SOS coordinates with AKD for the yearly fundraiser for the AKD scholarship.
