Description

The student chapter of the AHVMA introduces students to holistic veterinary medicine which considers the whole patient, environment, disease pattern, and relationship of the pet with the owner, in developing a treatment protocol using a wide range of therapies for healing the patient. These therapies include modern drugs, surgery, diagnostics, nutritional therapy, behavior modification, acupuncture, Chinese medicine, homeopathy, herbal medicine, and veterinary chiropractic, and many more.
