Membership Qualifications No prior rowing experience is necessary. We enjoy having members of all skill levels.
Membership Restrictions None
Elections/Selection Executive Cabinet elections are made in the Spring.
Meetings Practices are 6:00am-7:15am at Lied. Contact the President for practice schedule as men's and women's practice days are opt to change throughout the season.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

Practices are 3 days a week throughout the entire Fall and Spring semester. Every practice begins at 6:00am at Lied gym and will finish at approximately 7:15. Meet us at the tables in front of the rock wall. There will also be plenty of opportunities to learn how to row on the water at water practices during the weekend and weekday evenings. Water practices are at Hickory Grove Park in Nevada. Regata's include: Frostbite Regata, Nov. 5th, Witchita, Kansas Head of the Rock, Oct. 15th, Rockford, Illinois Des Moines Regatta, Sept. 27th, Des Moines, Iowa Quad Cities Classic, Oct. 22nd, Moline, Illinois Creighton Sprints, Spring date TBD, Omaha, Nebraska

Description of Special Events

Every year, ISU Crew Club takes a trip to Arkansas over the entirety of Spring Break. As a team, we camp at Lake Ouachita and enjoy two water practices a day. The second half of the week is spent in Little Rock where we row on the Little Rock River. Spring break is an excellent time to perfect your form and get in shape for the Spring 2K season!
