Description of Special Events

CNDE Tour - This event caters to individuals who are interested in learning more about the Center for Non-Destructive Evaluation. This event is led by a employee or Dr. Bond, the director of the facility, who gives a presentation on NDE and gives a tour of the facility.
Social Events - These can be a wide range of events to be determined by the Mentorship Chairs, and are meant for members to interact and get to know one another and the Yuri’s Night Social event, held every spring semester.
Professional Events - These can be a wide range of events such as guest speakers or presenters, seminars, tours, or service project to be determined by the Mentorship Chairs. These events are meant for members to build their professional skills and to help prepare them for their career after college.
Mock Career Fair - A fall semester event, hosted one week before the Engineering Career Fair where upperclassmen representatives help prepare and build confidence in underclassmen for the career fair.
