Description

The APWA enables students to see first hand how civil engineering projects are accomplished through government and private industry. Guest speakers and learning opportunities demonstrate real life applications in the field. The APWA also provides a nationwide network of other members in the profession of civil engineering.

Elections/Selection Elections will be held at the beginning of the second semester of the academic year. A term for an officer will last one year.
Meetings Cabinet meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of each month. General chapter meetings will be held whenever there is a speaker or other event.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

Speakers, outreach, and informative events will make up the general chapter meetings.

Events will include construction site visits and networking opportunities with professionals in civil engineering
