Description of Special Events

Welcome-Back BBQ is open to all within the Ag and Biosystem Engineering Department as well as new and interested members of the ABE departmental clubs. ASABE typically grills for the event
Fall Trip is planned by the Events Committee to provide members with industry tours in fields related to the work that they will be doing post-graduation. It is also a great social event for members.
Fall Leaf Rake is the largest of the the ASABE fundraisers. Members of the Ames the community contact the club to have leaves raked and removed from their yards
Spring Trip is similar to the fall trip but tends to coincide with the ASABE Midwest Rally and is often dictated by the location of that event. Social events, networking, and industry tours are a big part of the trip
