Every semester the AST Club takes a trip to tour industry leaders throughout the midwest. The trip is setup by the fall or spring trip committee. However, due to scheduling issues, we were unable to plan a spring semester trip.

Past Trips:

Fall 2014 Semester

For the fall semester part of the club took off on a Friday morning for Peoria, Illinois. Once we arrived in Peoria we took a tour of the CAT dozer manufacturing line where they manufacture D6-D11 dozers. From there we went to the Komatsu manufacturing where they make some of the world's largest dump trucks. Our last stop for the day was to visit the CAT Visitor's Center and learn more about the history of CAT and unleash our inner child to climb all over the equipment they had on display. Spring 2015 Semester

As a club, every 2 years we take a trip to the National Farm Machinery Show. This spring was the next planned date for us to visit the show. We took a 4 day trip to go to Louisville, Kentucky to visit the largest indoor agriculture show in the world with 850 exhibitors and 1.2 million square feet of space. After one full day of the show we also got to tour the Louisville Slugger Museum and manufacturing plant. Pictures can be found in the Photo Gallery tab on the left.
