Game Development Club

The purpose of this club is to bring together students of different disciplines in order to explore the creation of video games. The club also seeks to expand its members’ knowledge of the tools, techniques, and processes used in contemporary video game development. Members will collaborate on game development projects of their own choosing and explore their creativity in the game development space.

This Week’s Meeting

This week we will have a someone come in to talk about game development summer internship experience. This is a great chance for those of you interested in getting your foot into the world of game dev and those who are interseted in learning more about internship experiences and what to expect. Nathan will also be talking about applications for his collab game! As usual, we meet Monday at 7PM every week in Durham 0171.

 

Workspace

Come to the workspace Saturday in Pearson 0141 if you have something you would like work on and just want to get out of the house for a bit. We meet at 1PM - 3PM, so stop on by if you want.

 

This week in Workspace there will be a Workshop. We’ll give a short lesson on Unity Camera Control for anyone who is interested in learning more about it. The workshop is from 1 - 2PM in Pearson 0141. The workshop is completely optional, otherwise normal Workspace will be held from 1PM - 3PM as usual.

This week we’ll be discussing how to manage your time and how to connect with your audience in the general meeting. Especially with balancing school in your schedule, its important to manage your time so you can get things done, and it's good to know how to reach your audience. We meet Monday at 7PM every week in Durham 0171.
