The name of this organization is the Iowa State University Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow (ACT). The purpose of this organization shall be: (A) To encourage interest and relationships in agricultural communications. (B) To advance the interchange of ideas among students and faculty and with other ACT chapters. And (C) Establish contacts through the organization, along with other communication organizations.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

Regular meetings consist of report updates, speakers, club opportunities, etc. For fall 2017, meetings will be held on September 5, October 10, November 14 and November 28.

Description of Special Events

Attend conferences including Ag Media Summit, National Association of Farm Broadcasters and National ACT Professional Development Conference. Fall of 2017 will bring an industry tour as well as monthly socials!
