Description

The Material Advantage Student Chapter at Iowa State University provides students with opportunities for networking, professional development, and educational advancement within the field of materials science and engineering. Additionally, we actively engage in outreach programs to K-12 students, promoting awareness and interest in materials engineering as a viable career option. National Material Advantage is a student organization dedicated to promoting materials science and engineering. It's a collaboration between four leading materials organizations: the American Ceramic Society (ACerS), the Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST), ASM International, and The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS). Members have access to resources such as scholarships, internships, conferences, and workshops.
