Description
The Iowa State University Quidditch Club is an organization that is meant to promote, organize, and play the sport of Quidditch (also referred to as �Muggle Quidditch� or �Ground Quidditch�) on the campus of Iowa State University. Our goal is to introduce students to this growing sport, using the rules and guidelines set forth by the International Quidditch Association. The Club will hold scrimmages and establish an Active Membership within the International Quidditch Association to participate in Quidditch tournaments.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
ISU Quidditch Team meets 3 times a week, attendance not required, at Lied Fields and Central Campus, however additional practices are arranged each semester to fit best with player schedules. Athletic clothing is highly encouraged and no experience is needed. There are many team building activities available outside our normal meeting time to build teamwork and simply make new friends. |
Description of Special Events
Iowa State Quidditch Team regularly travel throughout the Midwest to compete in tournaments against other schools, including Iowa Quidditch Team, Mizzou Quidditch, and WestWood Quidditch. Many of these being 1-2 days of fun and challenging competition. This Spring we shall be hosting our own tournament here at Iowa State. |
