Description
The objective of this organization is to promote knowledge in the field of chemistry with an emphasis on the science of spectroscopy. The Society For Applied Spectroscopy Iowa State University student chapter endorses and supports activities to further increase knowledge of spectroscopy. Chapter meetings will be held monthly in Gilman Hall. Meeting discussions will include decision on future presenters, conferences, and advances in modern spectroscopy. Meeting details will be emailed to members as well as posted in various locations in Gilman and Hach Hall. All graduate students are encouraged to join the chapter. | We host a speaker from the National SAS speaker tour every year. The speaker normally visits in October during the fall semester. |
