The SolidWorks Club at Iowa State University was created to provide students with an opportunity to develop professional level 3D modeling and design skills using SolidWorks. The club offers a low-stress, community-based environment where members can improve their design abilities through peer mentoring, hands-on activities, design challenges, and certification preparation. Members gain access to structured learning resources designed to help them prepare for industry-recognized certifications in mechanical design, including the Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) and Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) exams. Both exams are offered free of cost and are proctored by the Executive Team during the semester.
