Description

This organization’s purpose shall be to learn how to do acrobatics and gymnastics in a safe and correct manner. Members will be permitted to perform skills they feel comfortable doing while receiving personalized feedback on how to improve themselves. This club is intended to be a fun way to relieve stress, stay active, improve gymnastics technique, and meet new people at Iowa State. The Gymnastics Club at Iowa State is intended for gymnasts from all backgrounds with varying levels of experience. **The Gymnastics Club at Iowa State is for individuals who want to explore an interest in gymnastics. Although safety precautions will be taken, the Gymnastics Club at Iowa State is not providing professional or expert instruction in tumbling and participants will engage in all club activities at their own risk. Members will be asked to sign waivers prior to participating in club activities**

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

Practices are held in an open gym format at Mid Iowa Gymnastics in Grimes, Iowa. We have coaches and peers that are well versed in tumbling and acrobatics that are there to help. Don't be afraid to ask!!

We often hold socials outside of the normal practice time that allow us to meet new people and relieve stress We also attend meets every year - typically 2-3
