Mission: Martian Base

Developed in collaboration with Ocotillo Elementary School in Phoenix, Arizona, this unit is made up of three introductory lessons on NASA, coding, and robotics. The unit culminates in the fourth and final lesson by challenging students to build a base on Mars by programming their Bee-Bots to meet mission objectives.

 

Mission: Artemis

Developed by members of Cardinal Space Mining, this outreach booth activity was designed to be used at elementary school science nights. Kids learn about NASA's Artemis missions by programming Bee-Bots to traverse a Lunar landscape.

Developed in collaboration with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, this unit was based on Mission: Martian Base. Students use block-based programming to build a base on Mars with Edison robots.
