STC is dedicated to the status and professional standards of workplace technical communication. STC chapters are located throughout the world and its members represent a wide variety of professions, including engineering, agriculture, politics, fund-raising, and insurance.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
| The STC meets every two weeks to allow students interested in technical communication to learn more about the field, to meet with successful recent alumni working in the field, and to discuss collaborative projects to assist the community. |
