A space to provide out of class opportunities for SciViz students which allow them to gain knowledge and skills through workshops, activities, and interactions with professionals and peers in the Scientific Visualization Community.

Must take at least 1 year at ISU before running to be an officer |
| Membership Restrictions |
Running for vice president is a 2 year commitment and the runner must be at ISU consecutively for those next 2 years (no study abroad) |
| Elections/Selection |
Each year typically at the last meeting. Done by majority vote, each candidate should be prepared to present themselves professionally with a statement about their experience and why they think they would be beneficial in the position. |

Description of Special Events
| Semester events include events such as the SciViz introductory picnic, Halloween events, Friendsgiving, and an end of semester Portfolio Review.

| Graduate School events and Post-Grad opportunities: Semester events and communications include information regarding professional programs and mentorship opportunities through the SciViz program. |
| Skill/ Software Workshops: As announced by email, often by the President and Program Coordinator of the ISU SciViz program |
| Trips to places like gallery shows, museums, medical illustration departments, and zoos to help build up knowledge about the industry and expand portfolios. |
