Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
| (ab)Terris means "of the land" in Latin. Students interested in all facets of landscape knowledge and design are encouraged to join us. Biweekly meetings are held in room 462 in the College of Design. Members explore and plan field trip, volunteer and fundraising opportunities involving the landscape and to the study and profession of landscape architecture. |
Description of Special Events
| (ab)Terris takes one field trip per semester. Past trips have included tours of the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo, Neal Smith Wildlife Refuge, and the Minneapolis parks system. |
| (ab)Terris hosts frequent social and networking events open to other students from related disciplines within the College of Design and disciplines outside of the CoD, including NREM, SusAg, HORT, and other related fields. |
