QTBIPOC, or Queer & Trans Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (QTBIPOC), is a safe place for students of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and queer (LGBTQ+) community while still being open to all students of diverse backgrounds here at Iowa State University. The goals of this organization are to discuss the intersections of identities that are fundamentally surrounding the LGBTQ+ community as well as being a person of color. This is a place for talk about topics regarding sexuality, race, orientation, and community building to educate each other on the intersectionality between identities.
