Description
The Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers is a national pre-professional organization with an Iowa State student-run chapter that promotes the professional development of Asian students in the sciences and engineering. The purpose of SASE is to recruit and develop students to become the leaders of tomorrow, celebrate and promote diversity across campus and in the workforce, and give back to our local community.

Elections are held in the spring semester during the month of March. |
| Meetings |
General meetings will be held once a month at the beginning of each month. Executive meetings will be held every other week. |
Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
| General meetings will follow one of three focuses: professional development, community-building, or philanthropy. General meetings could also be a combination of these focuses. Professional Development meetings could be LinkedIn workshops, resume reviews, career fair preparation, and travel for the national convention and regional conference. Community building meetings could be a cultural night, game night, and field day. Philanthropic meetings could be volunteering with Reiman Gardens, Ames Annual Tree Planting, FIRST Iowa Build Days, and attending blood drives. |
Description of Special Events
| SASE will host an annual End-of-the-year Banquet held in April, where students can network with companies and enjoy food and guest speakers. |
