Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

General meetings will follow one of three focuses: professional development, community-building, or philanthropy. General meetings could also be a combination of these focuses. Professional Development meetings could be LinkedIn workshops, resume reviews, career fair preparation, and travel for the national convention and regional conference. Community building meetings could be a cultural night, game night, and field day. Philanthropic meetings could be volunteering with Reiman Gardens, Ames Annual Tree Planting, FIRST Iowa Build Days, and attending blood drives.

Description of Special Events

SASE will host an annual End-of-the-year Banquet held in April, where students can network with companies and enjoy food and guest speakers.
