Description
The Cookout is a student-led community made especially for students from all kinds of backgrounds who are looking for a place to belong, feel encouraged, and grow in their faith. What started during the pandemic as a way to stay connected has turned into something really special. A space where people from different cultures can come together, build real friendships, and experience the love of Christ in a chill, welcoming environment. Every last Friday of the month, it feels just like being back at home with your cousins, family, and friends. We share a meal, sometimes home-cooked, sometimes catered, and enjoy music, laughter, dancing, and classic cookout games like Spades and Uno. It’s a chance to kick back, have fun, and just be yourself with people who get it. Whether you’ve grown up in the church or you’re just curious about faith, whether you’re new to campus or just looking for a real community, you’re more than welcome here. At The Cookout, we’re all about uplifting different voices, celebrating culture, and making sure everyone feels seen, known, and truly loved.
