Description

The Pre-Genetic Counseling Club is a community for undergraduate students interested in pursuing a career in genetic counseling. Our goal is to provide resources, education, and connections that help students explore the field and prepare for graduate programs. Members will have opportunities to: Participate in specialty deep dives that explore areas such as cancer, prenatal, pediatric, and more potential focuses of genetic counseling. Hear from guest speakers including practicing genetic counselors, current graduate students, and faculty. Attend webinars and workshops that highlight professional skills, current research, and the graduate school application process. Build their professional network through peer collaboration and networking opportunities with alumni and professionals in the field. Whether you’re just discovering genetic counseling or already planning your next steps, this club offers a supportive and engaging space to learn more, get involved, and prepare for your future career.
