Description
IDEA gives students hands-on engineering experience through real design-build projects each semester. Every term, members take a new project from concept to creation—designing, prototyping, and manufacturing solutions that make a positive impact, especially for developing communities. IDEA emphasizes teamwork, learning by doing, and giving every member a voice in the process.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
| IDEA meets weekly to plan, design, and build a semester-long engineering project. Meetings include brainstorming, design reviews, safety briefings, and hands-on fabrication sessions in approved lab spaces. Members work in teams led by student project leads to prototype and test solutions. Each semester ends with a showcase where teams present their completed project and documentation. Additional meetings may be held for training, outreach, or collaboration with sponsors. |
