Description
The purpose of the Athletic Training Club is to provide leadership and educational experiences for Athletic Training Students at Iowa State University. Our goal is to provide these educational and leadership opportunities to students, enabling them to grow both within their clinical experiences and academics. This goal is achieved through professional development opportunities, social events, and Athletic Training-based competitions.

Membership Qualifications |
Member of the Iowa State Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) program with at least a 2.5 GPA and 6 credits. |

All cabinet members must be graduate students in the Athletic Training Program.
All members must be at least Juniors in the Athletic Training Program.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
We bring in speakers to talk about different aspects of our sports medicine field. For example we have brought in an orthopedic surgeon and sports chiropractor physician. We are also looking to use the meetings as professional development opportunities. |
Description of Special Events
Athletic Training Olympics- Teams compete against each other in various events incorporating athletic activity and daily Athletic Training duties. |
