Description

This is the Organization for ISU students from Bangladesh or of Bangladeshi origin but any student of ISU is welcomed to join. BSA does not follow any discriminatory practice as an organization. The purpose of this organization is to represent Bangladeshi culture and tradition in Iowa State and create a community that is knowledgeable of rich heritage of Bangladesh.

Membership Restrictions No restrictions. Any Bangladeshi student of the university may join.

Meetings Either bi-weekly or by necessity.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

Regular meetings are designed to acclimate new students with one another and plan small events and get togethers.

Description of Special Events

International Week: Partake in International Student Council's International Week, including booth at International Bazaar, partaking in the fashion show, and making food for the Food Night.
Fresher's Reception: welcoming the new Bangladeshi students at ISU each semester( Fall and Spring)
Farewell for recent graduate students in each Fall and Spring Semesters.
Annual Cricket, Volleyball, TT and Badminton tournaments
