Description
Iowa State FWB is the student chapter of The Wildlife Society, providing hands-on experiences with wildlife and conservation.
Activities include: outdoor recreation, owling, hiking, birding, fishing, herping, camping, and more. A variety of speakers present to the club, including guests from government organizations, wildlife professionals, graduate students, and conservation groups.
The club participates annually in The Wildlife Society’s Midwest Student Conclave, a weekend of speakers and workshops on field techniques, as well as an opportunity for students from different universities to have the opportunity for networking.

Officer elections are at the beginning of every spring semester. |

Every Thursday starting the second week of the semester in Science 2, room 115, at 6:30 pm. |
Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
At regular meeting we discuss any upcoming events, if there are any. Normal activities include hiking, animal pictionary, owling, watching videos, guest speakers, or any other games/activities the club wants to do. |
Description of Special Events
Our special events are the big things like our fall camping trip, snow tubing, picnics, and conclave. Anything big going on is brought up to the club so arrangements can be made and everyone can know the details. |
