Description
Pi Tau Sigma is the national mechanical engineering honor society and is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies. There are 141 chapters, including universities in almost every state of the United States. Its objectives are (1) to foster high ideals in the engineering profession, (2) to stimulate and support departmental activities, (3) to promote professional welfare, and (4) to develop leadership and citizenship. | Membership Restrictions |
Juniors in the top 25% of their class and seniors in the top 35% of their class, based on grades, are invited to join. Membership fees are due at initiation and membership lasts a lifetime. |

Description of Special Events
| Lunch with Professors each semester. It's a relaxed meal, free for all PTS members and Professors in attendance. It opens up our members and a select few of our best ME professors to a professional and networking discussion. |
