Tri Iota is an organization that advocates for marginalized groups, feminist values of intersectionality, and activism within the Iowa State community. The purpose is to create a supportive environment for those interested in Women's and Gender Studies. Any Iowa State student with a 3.0 or higher grade average will be eligible to join. For those interested in being involved with the honor society, there will be an application to complete for membership.

Constitution / Tier
||Any and all Women and Gender Studies Majors/Minors are able to join. Non-majors/minors are also eligible for membership. An application process will be given to all prospective students.
||Any club member is able to run for office.
||Student must have a 3.0 grade average to be inducted.
||Student must maintain a 3.0 grade average to maintain membership.
||Elections will be held once a year in the spring semester.
||Meetings are held biweekly in Pearson 3143 from 5-6 pm, starting September 29th.
Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
|Weekly meetings focus on conscious raising, as well as activism on campus. Informal discussions are held surrounding issues concerning race, class, gender, sexuality, ability, and religion. We hold events on campus, as well as sponsoring lecturers who represent our values.
