The Alliance for Disability Awareness is a student organization dedicated to supporting students with disabilities, as well as raising awareness for the wide variety of disabilities on campus and pushing for a more accessible ISU.

Meetings |
Meetings will be alternating Thursdays, generally from 5-6:30 pm in 1158 Hixson-Lied Student Success Center. Meeting dates will exclude any university holidays, Prep Week, and Finals Week. Please Reach out if you have any questions! |
Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
Meetings consist of both social activities as well as planning for awareness activities. Our aim is to create a safe place for students with disabilities to come and share their experiences and struggles. We welcome any individual with a disability, whether it is visible or invisible as well as people who do not have a disability, but wish to learn more! |
Description of Special Events
On October 2nd, from 5 to 7:30 pm in 1158 Hixson-Lied, come watch and discuss the disability advocacy film, Crip Camp. Snacks and fidgets provided! |
