The Alliance for Disability Awareness is a student organization dedicated to supporting students with disabilities, as well as raising awareness for the wide variety of disabilities on campus and pushing for a more accessible ISU.

Constitution / Tier
||All Iowa State faculty and students welcome.
||All students qualified according to the constitution
||Any students running for an officer position must be in good standing with the university and enrolled at least half-time at Iowa State. A GPA of 2.00 or above must be maintained to be eligible for office.
||Elections are held the last meeting of spring semester, positions are held for one academic year.
||Meetings weekly, Thursday at 5:00 PM in the Student Services DSO Longue. We do offer a Zoom link for those who would like attend virtually or cannot attend.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
|Meetings consist of both social activities as well as planning for awareness activities. Our aim is to create a safe place for students with disabilities to come and share their experiences and struggles. We welcome any individual with a disability, whether it is visible or invisible as well as people who do not have a disability, but wish to learn more!
Description of Special Events
|Special events include awareness events such as "Step Into My World", awareness days to highlight the diversity of disabilities at Iowa State, as well as student speaking arrangements for classes around campus.
