Emerging Leaders in Engineering (ELE) is a student organization at Iowa State University that creates a space for students in engineering to interact and work with each other to develop leadership skills, as well as, help each other with class work. We focus on soft skills not covered in most classes that make a big difference in the professional world. Our hope is that we would be a community committed to fun, challenging ourselves and others, and growing to become great leaders in engineering.
This organization has no affiliations.
Constitution / Tier
||Iowa State students of any major are allowed to join ELE.
||Elections for officers are held each spring. Lead Team member roles and responsibilities can be found in the constitution.
||A large part of what makes ELE so terrific is that we embrace members of all majors and all years. ELE is mostly made up of engineers, and that is who we heavily recruit, but anyone wanting to join and develop their leadership skills while working with engineers is welcome.
||There are no restrictions in joining ELE.
||Elections are held each spring and are fairly informal.
||General meetings for the club will be every Monday night at 7 pm in a location to be announced in the ELE Weekly.

Description of Special Events
|Working Sessions: With so many classes online, we want to be a place for accountability or questions.
