Description
The Nepalese Students Association (NSA) is a vibrant community of Nepali students, postdocs, faculty, and families at Iowa State University. Our organization is dedicated to promoting awareness of Nepal by sharing the rich cultural, linguistic, and ethnic diversity of our homeland with the ISU community and the broader public. We are equally committed to supporting incoming Nepali students, helping them navigate academic life, build connections, and feel at home in Ames.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
| We meet at least twice in a semester. We participate in the Events organized International Student Council like I-Night, Food Fair |
Description of Special Events
| Annual BBQ: Yearly get-together of the Nepalese community in Ames and the nearby area. Includes food, fun activities, sports, dance, music, welcoming of new members, and NSA election. |
| Dashain Celebration: Celebration of the Nepalese national festival, which includes traditional food and cultural programs. |
| Tihar Celebration: Celebration of Tihar in Ames by going to members' apartments/homes to play deusi/bhailo. |
