The IRHA, as a sponsored student led organization representing residence hall students, aspires to maintain and represent a cohesive community by providing a safe environment, establishing and sponsoring memorable events and providing developmental leadership opportunities for the entirety of residence hall students.

Membership Qualifications Must be a student living in an on-campus Residence Hall
Membership Restrictions All members must be students living in an on-campus Residence Hall. The President and Vice-President must have one semester of experience living in a Residence Hall before their term begins.
Elections/Selection Held annually in the Spring Semester
Meetings Weekly on Thursday at 7:30PM in the Memorial Union, excluding campus breaks.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

IRHA advocates for the interests of residence hall students to University administrators, Student Government, and groups outside of the University community. Additionally, IRHA plans and implements a variety of programming for residence hall students, including Fall and Spring Residence Hall Weeks. IRHA collects and distributes student fee money from residence hall students to be used in a variety of ways that benefit all residents.
