Description

Pre-Vet Club (PVC) at ISU is designed to serve as a forum where students interested in the field of veterinary medicine and supported fields gather to learn. PVC holds monthly meetings and frequent activities centered on specific projects, subjects, or speakers of interest. PVC is also a great group to gain leadership experience, there are many exec positions and constant opportunities to take on a project and be involved.

Membership Qualifications All students, regardless of major, that have an interest in veterinary medicine are welcome to join.
Membership Restrictions To maintain active membership in PVC, each member is required to attend two meetings and two club activities per semester.
Elections/Selection Elections will take place annually at the last meeting of the spring semester. All interested candidates shall have the opportunity to submit a nomination questionnaire for club distribution at least one week prior to the election. Each candidate must meet eligibility requirements as stated in Article IX, Section 1a of the PVC Constitution. For more information about the PVC election process, refer to Article IX, Section 3 of the Constitution.
Meetings General meetings take place once a month on Thursdays at 6:30 pm. Refer to the club's calendar for specified dates.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

We hold monthly meetings, and our interest groups regularly host speakers and trips of relevance.

Description of Special Events

There will be various social events and fundraisers hosted throughout the year. Symposiums will be hosted at least every other year.
