You must be a graduate student at Iowa State University (all majors welcome) interested in the field of statistics |
| Membership Restrictions |
No undergraduate students. There is a separate undergraduate statistics club. |
| Elections/Selection |
Officer elections are held near the end of the Spring semester each year. There are also many committee positions that members can fill. These positions are volunteer. |

One meeting at the beginning of the year and various activities throughout the year. |
Description of Regular Meetings/Activities
| We have one large meeting at the beginning of the year to discuss things like committee assignments, STATCOM, activities for the year, and constitution changes. Throughout the year, there are several academic and social events that Stat-ers sponsors that all Stat-ers members can attend. |
Description of Special Events
| Chili Cook-Off: Each year, we old a chili cook-off, where prizes are awarded to the top 3 chilis as chosen by volunteer judges, and to the people's choice favorite, which is chosen by monetary donation. All funds raised go to charity. |
