Allowed Members Any ISU student with an interest in soil and water conservation.
Allowed Officers Any. Our constitution requires President, Vice President, Treasurer. We have non-mandatory standing position definitions for Operations Officer, Communications Officer, and CALS Council Representative. The constitution also permits additional positions to be created as needed.
Membership Qualifications All registered students in good standing at Iowa State having an interest in soil and water conservation.
Membership Restrictions None
Elections/Selection Elections are in March every year. Officer-Elects shadow the prior year's officers until classes end in May, which is when they become the standing officers.
Meetings Meetings are held on many (but not all) Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. in Elings Hall 3306. Additional events at other times and locations are announced generally 2 weeks ahead of time. Announcements are made on GroupMe and the swcc@iastate.edu group. Email rmcgehee@iastate.edu or swccexec@iastate.edu to join for meeting announcements.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

We meet on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month in Agronomy Hall at 6:00. Meetings consist of industry and conservation speakers, workshops, and anything else related to Soil and Water Conservation. Food is provided during our regular meetings.

Description of Special Events

We build, sell, and present a groundwater flow model as well as put out an annual publication.
