To confer recognition upon industrial engineering students who have shown exceptional academic interests and abilities in their field. To encourage, wherever possible, any movement which will advance the best interest of industrial engineering education.

Allowed Members Qualified Industrial Engineering students
Allowed Officers An elected current Alpha Pi Mu member
Membership Qualifications Active membership shall be open to those undergraduate and graduate students fully registered in an Industrial Engineering or comparable engineering. Eligible students include: Juniors in the upper 1/5 of their class, Seniors in the upper 1/3 of their class, Graduate students displaying exemplary academic achievement Initiation invitations are sent to all eligible students each semester.
Membership Restrictions Must be an industrial engineering student
Elections/Selection Officers are elected once a year after spring initiation takes place.
Meetings Two in person meetings per semester in addition to initiation and outreach activities.

Description of Regular Meetings/Activities

Officers will meet and discuss scheduling and planning each week.

Description of Special Events

Alpha Pi Mu holds two initiation events in the spring and fall. New members are required to fulfill initiation requirements and get to meet current Alpha Pi Mu members.
