The Dairy Science Club's Alumni committee was formed to help us keep in touch with past members, as well as to help them keep in touch with each other. Alumni Events

On November 2, 2024, the Dairy Science Club at Iowa State University joined the Iowa State University Dairy Extension Team to host the alumni tailgate. Around 100 club members, club alumni, extension team members, and others joined for a meal and networking before the Iowa State Homecoming Game against Texas Tech. Club members enjoyed catching up with club alumni and gaining industry insight from the Dairy Extension team. Even though the football team may have lost the game, this event was a win! A special thanks to the Iowa State Dairy Association, who sponsored the meal for this event, and thank you to the Iowa State University extension team for your partnership on this event. Thank you to all who attended, and we hope to see you at next year’s alumni event!

The Dairy Science Club host an annual Alumni Event at World Dairy Expo every year. This is an opportunity to catch up with ISU Dairy Science Club Alumni, enjoy free food, and take a look at past yearbooks. New this year, we sent our alumni holiday greeting cards and club updates. Alumni, be on the lookout for future invitations to similar events.
